Chapter One: The Soft Meadow
Little Bear woke up one starry night. He wanted to find the best place to sleep. ‘I need a cozy spot,’ he said.
He walked softly to a meadow. The grass was green and soft. Little Bear lay down, but it was too tickly!

The crickets chirped. ‘Too noisy!’ said Little Bear. He shook his head and walked away. ‘I need a quieter spot!’ he yawned.
Chapter Two: By the Bubbling Brook
Little Bear found a brook. The water was cool and clear. He dipped his paws, and it splashed! ‘Splish, splash,’ went the brook.
He lay by the water, listening to the gentle bubbles. But the brook was too splashy!

Little Bear shook the drops off his paws. ‘Too wet,’ he giggled. He wanted to find somewhere dry.
Chapter Three: Under the Tall Trees
Little Bear walked under tall trees. The leaves whispered in the wind. ‘Whoooosh,’ went the wind.
He found a soft patch of moss. It was quiet here. He snuggled down. The leaves danced above him.

But the forest was too dark. ‘Too spooky,’ said Little Bear. He wanted a little light.
Chapter Four: The Perfect Spot
Little Bear saw a glow in the trees. Fireflies danced around him. ‘Twinkle, twinkle,’ they went.
He lay in a cozy nook where the fireflies danced. It was warm and bright.

Little Bear yawned and closed his eyes. ‘This is just right,’ he whispered. Soon, he was fast asleep, dreaming sweet dreams.
