Chapter One: Tiny Turtle’s Wish
Once upon a time, in a bright and sunny forest, there lived a tiny turtle named Tilly. Tilly loved to watch the sun dance on the leaves. She wished she could dance like the sunbeams too.
Tilly’s little feet tapped on the ground. Tap, tap, tap went her tiny toes. But try as she might, Tilly could not dance. Tilly felt a little sad.
Suddenly, a cheerful bird named Benji flew down. ‘Hi Tilly!’ chirped Benji. ‘Why are you tapping your toes?’
‘I want to dance, but I don’t know how,’ said Tilly.
‘Let me help you!’ chirped Benji. Together, they started to learn. Flap, flap, flap went Benji’s wings. Tap, tap, tap went Tilly’s toes.
Chapter Two: The Forest Friends Join
The next day, Tilly and Benji went to the meadow. The sun was shining, and the flowers were swaying. Tilly tapped her toes, and Benji flapped his wings.
Suddenly, Bella the bunny hopped over. ‘What are you two doing?’ she asked with a wiggle of her nose.
‘We’re learning to dance!’ said Tilly happily.
‘Can I join?’ asked Bella. ‘Of course!’ said Tilly and Benji.
So, Bella hopped around. Hop, hop, hop went Bella’s feet. Flap, flap, flap went Benji’s wings. Tap, tap, tap went Tilly’s toes.
Together, they danced in the meadow, under the bright sun, swaying with the flowers.
Chapter Three: Tilly’s First Dance
On the third day, Tilly felt excited. She had learned so much from her friends. Tilly was ready to dance all by herself.
The forest was bright and full of music. The birds sang sweet songs. The leaves rustled like a soft drum.
Tilly took a deep breath. She tapped her toes gently. Tap, tap, tap went her tiny toes.
Then she flapped her little legs like wings. Flap, flap, flap. And she even tried a little hop. Hop, hop, hop.
Tilly was dancing! She twirled and swayed, happy as could be. Her forest friends clapped and cheered.
‘Hooray for Tilly!’ they all shouted. Tilly smiled the biggest smile. She was a dancing turtle now!
