Chapter One: The Soft Green Grass
Toby the Turtle woke up in the morning. The sun was bright and warm. Toby felt happy. Today was a special day. He was going to explore the garden!
Toby moved slowly. He saw the soft, green grass. The grass tickled his feet. It felt nice and cool. Toby smiled. He loved the grass.
Suddenly, Toby saw something move. It was a little ladybug. The ladybug was red with black spots. ‘Hello, Ladybug,’ said Toby. ‘Hello, Toby,’ said the ladybug. They became friends.
Chapter Two: The Bright Yellow Flowers
Toby moved to the next part of the garden. He saw bright yellow flowers. The flowers smelled sweet. Toby loved the smell. It made him smile.
In the flowers, Toby met a buzzing bee. The bee was busy collecting nectar. ‘Hello, Bee,’ said Toby. ‘Hello, Toby,’ buzzed the bee. They became friends.
The bee flew around the flowers. Toby watched and listened. Buzz, buzz, buzz! The sound was happy. Toby felt happy too.
Chapter Three: The Sparkling Blue Pond
Toby moved to the pond. The water was blue and sparkling. Toby saw his reflection. ‘Hello, Toby,’ he said to himself and giggled.
Then, Toby met a friendly fish. The fish was orange and shiny. ‘Hello, Fish,’ said Toby. ‘Hello, Toby,’ said the fish. They swam together.
Toby loved the pond. The water was cool. The fish splashed playfully. Toby laughed. He had so many friends now.
