Chapter 1: Tilly’s Big Day
Tilly the Turtle woke up with a big smile. Today was special. Today was Earth Day!
Tilly loved the earth. She loved green trees, bright flowers, and the soft grass. She wanted to help the earth stay happy.
Tilly wiggled her little turtle toes and thought hard. ‘I will plant a tree!’ she said. ‘A tree will help the earth.’ Tilly felt excited.
With her little tree, Tilly set off on her big adventure. She felt the warm sun on her shell and the cool earth under her feet. Tilly was ready!
Chapter 2: New Friends in the Forest
Tilly walked through the forest. She saw a fluffy bunny hopping by. ‘Hello, Bunny!’ said Tilly. ‘I am planting a tree for Earth Day!’
‘Can I help?’ asked Bunny, with a twitch of his nose. ‘Yes, please!’ said Tilly, happy to have a friend.
Together, Tilly and Bunny dug a little hole. They placed the tiny tree inside. The earth felt soft and good. They patted the soil gently.
‘Thank you, Bunny,’ said Tilly. ‘The earth will be happy!’ Bunny wiggled his ears. ‘Yes, and we are happy too!’
Chapter 3: Tilly’s Tree Grows Strong
Tilly and Bunny watched the little tree. It stood tall and proud in the sunlight. Tilly felt proud too.
Later, a colorful bird flew down. ‘Hello, Bird!’ chirped Tilly. ‘We planted a tree!’ The bird sang a happy song.
The bird helped water the tree, sprinkling cool water from its beak. Tilly, Bunny, and Bird watched the tree together.
Tilly smiled. ‘We helped the earth today!’ she said. Bunny and Bird nodded. The earth felt happy, and Tilly did too.
